TriOrb is excited to announce our participation in the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2024), taking place at Pacifico Yokohama from Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 17, 2024.

We will be exhibiting at the corporate booth section from May 13 to Thursday, May 16, so please note the exhibition ends a day before the conference.

ICRA, organized by IEEE, is one of the world’s premier international conferences for robotics and automation, bringing together cutting-edge research and innovations from around the globe.

At our booth, we will showcase the unique mechanism and capabilities of TriOrb BASE, the world’s first ball-driven omnidirectional mobility platform for industrial use. Visitors will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of its exceptional mobility, including omnidirectional movement, millimeter-level precision, and robust performance over uneven surfaces such as grooves or steps.

Additionally, TriOrb BASE has been adopted as the driving mechanism for Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ autonomous service robot “Nyokkey,” which will also be on display at the conference. Nyokkey is designed to work alongside humans, performing tasks like serving and clearing tables in restaurants, and light-duty tasks such as opening and closing doors while ensuring safety around people.
